If there is one game that marked the beginning and end of wartime strategy games, it was Theatre of War. As previously mentioned it is an exciting real time strategy game, in which you participate in great battles inspired by the Second World War.

Theatre of War has five historic campaigns, divided into forty exciting missions and more than thirty different maps designed using historic military documents. This gives them a high level of detail and excellent graphics, where you can even appreciate the weather. As you advance through the campaigns, each soldier gains experience and new skills.

As with all good strategies, in Theatre of War you must plan your tactics as well as possible, re-enforcing those weaker units, replacing the wounded, changing weapons and munitions for each attack and, if you can, capturing the enemy as soon as possible. And if you prefer, you can also fight other players thanks to a Theatre of War multiplayer mode via the Internet or LAN.
